JET

JET is a young, top-class winery on Lake Zurich, producing wines with a clear signature that showcase the region's great terroir.

Our vineyards in Uetikon and Kloten have a long history of winemaking, a tradition that we continue to uphold with a forward-looking approach. We work in partnership with nature, using strictly organic methods. We are uncompromising in our commitment to quality in the vineyards and rely on natural processes and our expertise in the wine cellar. JET is a high-quality wine with character and expression!

JET Vineyards

Our JET wines originate in the vineyards. Working in partnership with nature, we focus on individual vine care, rigorous yield reduction and strict organic cultivation to produce our uncompromising, terroir-driven wines. To this end, we work personally in the vineyards throughout the year, overseeing every aspect ourselves. We are committed to improving our soils in a forward-looking manner and strengthening natural diversity — for our wines and for the future. Our Bio-Suisse certification is just the beginning.

JET Vineyard
  • Grüt is Wine by JET prestigious location. Above Uetikon lies the historic vineyard at the foot of the Pfannenstiel, overlooking the panorama of the village and Lake Zurich against the impressive backdrop of the Alps. The soil is barren, rocky, and slopes gently towards the south. Together with the mild lake climate, it offers ideal conditions for Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, and Räuschling. Grüt was acquired by the Schnorf family in 1402 under the name "altes Gseck" and laid out as a vineyard. Today, Wine by JET continues JET piece of wine history on Lake Zurich. The Magnum Lounge, our charming half-timbered vineyard cottage, is located in the middle of this wonderful location and is also available for private events .

  • The 'Wigarten' is our idyllic enclave in the village center of Uetikon. In this former orchard, reptiles and insects find a diverse habitat among our vines. Sheltered by the surrounding houses, the nutrient-rich soil and sunny exposure provide excellent conditions for Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.

  • The Äntschberg is the last vineyard in Kloten. The long ridge stretching from Bülach to Lindau used to be covered entirely with vines. Today, our vineyard lies amid fruit trees, meadows, and forests. The perfect south-facing location, the poor, calcareous soil, and the old vines produce surprising Riesling-Sylvaner and Pinot Noir wines here.

JET Wine Cellar

Our work in the wine cellar builds on our unwavering commitment to excellence in the vineyards. We accompany the wine throughout its development, enjoying how it plays and unfolds its aromas. We rely on spontaneous fermentation with wild yeasts, avoid the use of additives and naturally bottle our wines unfiltered. We use barrique ageing carefully and sparingly to support and emphasise these processes. Through our decisions, we positively influence the natural processes, creating special, terroir-driven wines
