Your Harvest Day with Us
A day with us is more than just work – it is an experience.
Start of the Day: We commence harvesting at 8:30 AM. Work resumes in the afternoon from 1:30 PM.
Breaks: For a well-deserved refreshment, we will have a pleasant mid-morning or mid-afternoon break, where we can collectively unwind and recharge.
Collective Conclusion: After the work is done, a delicious lunch or a relaxed apéritif awaits us. This is the perfect moment to reflect on the day, engage in professional discussions, and enjoy the community.
Can I also come for half a day?
Yes, certainly. Please register for the appointment and send us a brief message indicating whether you will be joining in the morning or afternoon. Why? This helps us determine the number of meals and refreshments to plan for lunch and breaks, respectively.
Your Compensation
Your hours worked will be registered and compensated with a wine credit – allowing you to directly enjoy the fruits of your labor later. Should you prefer an alternative form of compensation, please inform us prior to your involvement.
Your Attire
Please consider practical work clothing that can get dirty and is suitable for the weather. Sun protection, such as a hat and sunscreen, along with sturdy footwear, are highly recommended.
How to Stay Informed
Our harvest days are planned flexibly, depending on weather conditions. The exact dates will be announced 2 to 3 days in advance in our WhatsApp chat. There, you can easily sign up for your preferred days. This way, you will always be up to date and won't miss any harvest start!

Uetikon am See - Grüt (Magnum Lounge)

Grüt is Wine by JET's prestigious location. Situated above Uetikon, this historic vineyard lies at the foot of the Pfannenstiel mountain, offering panoramic views of the village and Lake Zurich against a stunning Alpine backdrop. The soil is sparse, rocky, and gently slopes towards the south. Combined with the mild lake climate, it provides optimal conditions for Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, and Räuschling. Grüt was acquired by the Schnorf family as early as 1402 under the name 'altes Gseck' and established as a vineyard. Today, Wine by JET continues this legacy of winemaking history from Lake Zurich.

The 'Wigarten' is our idyllic enclave in the village center of Uetikon. In this former orchard, reptiles and insects find a diverse habitat among our vines. Sheltered by the surrounding houses, the nutrient-rich soil and sunny exposure provide excellent conditions for Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.

Äntschberg is the last vineyard in Kloten. The long ridge stretching from Bülach to Lindau was once continuously planted with vines. Today, our vineyard is nestled amidst fruit trees, meadows, and forests. The perfect south-facing orientation, the barren and chalky soil, and the old vines yield surprising Riesling-Sylvaner and Pinot Noir here.
